Affiliate Disclosure

1. The short version

ArchitectureTools is an independent software directory for architects and designers. Some of the links to software vendors on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one and later buy or subscribe, we may receive a small commission from that vendor. You never pay more because of it, and the price you get is the vendor's normal price.

2. We do not sell anything

We are not a vendor or a reseller. There is no checkout on this website, we take no payment from visitors, and we hold no licences to sell. Every transaction happens on the vendor's own website, under the vendor's own terms, and any invoice, licence, support request or refund is a matter between you and that vendor.

3. What an affiliate link is

When you follow an affiliate link, the vendor or its affiliate network records that the visit came from us, usually with a cookie set on their own domain. If a purchase follows, they pay us a percentage of it. This is a standard arrangement across publishing, and it is what keeps this directory free to read and free of intrusive advertising.

4. What it does not change

• Editorial independence. Our reviews, rankings and comparisons come from our own research and testing. A commission never buys a higher position, a better score, or a mention.
• No pay-to-play listings. Tools are included because they are relevant to architects and designers, not because a vendor paid for a slot.
• Clear labelling. If a piece of content is ever sponsored or produced in partnership with a vendor, it is marked as such on the page itself.
• Criticism stays. Where a tool is weak, expensive or a poor fit, we say so, even when there is an affiliate programme behind it.

5. Compliance

This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and equivalent consumer protection rules in the EU and the UK. Please assume that any outgoing link to a commercial software vendor on this site may be an affiliate link.

6. Trademarks

All product names, logos and trademarks mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners, and are used for identification and editorial purposes only. Mentioning a product does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by its owner.
