Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. They are used to make a site work, to remember your preferences, and to measure how the site is used. This policy also covers similar technologies such as browser local storage.

2. How we use them

ArchitectureTools is an independent directory. We do not sell anything, we do not run an advertising network, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles. We use them for two things only:

  • Necessary and functional. Stored by your own browser so the site works as expected, for example remembering the tools you added to your comparison list and the fact that you dismissed the cookie banner.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies so we can count visitors and see which articles are read. The data is used in aggregate to improve the site.

3. The cookies used on this site

Google may update the names and durations of its own cookies. The current list is published in the Google Analytics documentation.

4. Third-party cookies from affiliate links

Some outgoing links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one, the vendor or its affiliate network may set a cookie on their own domain so the referral can be attributed to us. That cookie is governed by their policy, not ours. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

5. How to refuse or delete cookies

You stay in control at all times. You can:

  • block or delete cookies in your browser settings, for all sites or for this one;
  • use a tracking blocker or private browsing;
  • install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop analytics measurement everywhere.

Blocking analytics cookies does not break the site. Blocking local storage may reset your comparison list. General guidance on managing cookies is available at www.aboutcookies.org.

6. Changes and contact

We update this policy whenever the cookies we use change. For any question, write to architecturetools@outlook.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
